About Me

Bailey is in her 4th year of the BFA Design program at the University of Alberta, and hopes to obtain her MFA in the coming years of her academic career. She has had the opportunity to engage with numerous elements of design, as well as become familiar with in-depth technical aspects of productions throughout her career. She has designed set and costumes for several realized productions, including A Bend in the Road, and the U of A BLT productions of Antigone, After Miss Julie, and Harold Pinter’s, The Birthday Party. As well as being proficient in scenic painting, prop construction, set, lighting, and costume design, Bailey has also completed production designs for numerous shows in studio, such as Richard III, The Bear/The Proposal, Taking Sides, the Komagata Maru Incident, One Flea Spare, Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Angels in America. Bailey looks forward to being involved in future productions at the university, as well as working in collaboration with outside companies, as she works to finish her undergraduate degree.
